"MOMMY, BALL NO, HOCKEY!!!"

I really cant even remember back to the begining of February to really say what we have been busy with this month... but it surely has been BUSY! Can't believe we already to in for my 4-month checkup next week! Seems like just last week we were @ our first appt! Been doing much better now that the 2nd trimester has started- Im still sick every now and then but not several times every day like I was earlier! Things are looking up!

We have both been pretty busy at work - Bobby is gone to Fargo tonight-tomorrow for training.
Valentine's day Bobby & I went to the Bronze Boot to eat (it's where we met!!!); he wrote me a beautiful poem! Not only did we get to see a lot of our old co-workers but also fan into some of my cousins, and two of our very good friends M&D!
Last weekend we went down to St. Cloud for the Sioux hockey game - we got to see my grandparents who live down there too. We had been planning on spending the night and then going to watch the Daytona 500 @ our friends' the next day, but since they were predicting such a terrible storm we ended up leaving St. Cloud at 11:30 that night and Bobby drove all night - we got home at 4:30AM Sunday morning!
Tuesday night we went to watch the ND State Basketball Tournaments at the Betty. I had never been to see a game @ the Betty before... When we got there, Mason was NOT impressed that we were not there for a hockey game. He was yelling "MOMMY, BALL NO, HOCKEY!!!" Once he got his box of popcorn and the game started though he calmed down and now wants to watch "Ball" on TV whenever we flip through channels. (and ps: he ate the ENTIRE box of popcorn himself!)
Off to watch re-runs of Friends and then to bed!

12 weeks

On Friday, we hit the *12 week* marker with baby b! Had our first dr. appointment on Thursday, everything checked out OK! Got to hear the heartbeat for the first time - 158 bpm - not sure if that means boy or girl?!?! We will find out March 31st!. I am sure ready for this first trimester sickness all the time to be over. Hope it is very soon!!!

We have been homebodies this weekend - Mason hasnt been feeling the greatest (and neither have I for that matter...) I did make a new strap for my camera yesterday; Im so happy with how it turned out. Today after church we might try to venture to Grand Forks to pick up some needed things at Target (and maybe some not-so-needed things too) and groceries. No plans for Superbowl tonight. Not really that excited about it - maybe for the commercials, but it seems like the past few years none of them have really been that funny. Or at least not funny enough for me to remember. I do like the new red bull commercial though - makes me laugh every time!

I am in love with this picture of Maosn and Bobby - melts my heart! I just love watching the two of them play together. Well, it is 8AM - I think I hear Mason singing away in bed!

Mason's bday party

Here are a few pics from Mason's birthday party that we had last Sunday. Bobby & I gave him a "dance along" Mickey - Mickey "moon walks" and moves his hands up and down. It was so fun to watch him dance along! I have a video to post too but will have to do it another day...
Tomorrow is our FIRST baby appointment! I am super excited, and a little nervous. Not really sure why I am nervous - we have been through this all before! Hopefully after tomorrow I can be done with being convinced we are having twins... I remember the first time we heard Mason's heart beat - how I teared up at the realization that there was a little person growing inside of me. Can't wait to experience that again tomorrow afternoon!!!

before/after

This week we got our new kitchen countertops installed! We are LOVING them and wish we wolud've done it back when we first bought our house! It makes me feel like I have a brand new kitchen - maybe I will even get the urge to start baking actual meals again rather than whatever I can whip up in 15 minutes! Here's a little look before/after (not sure why the "after" photo is so big). Thanks mom and dad for the Christmas gift to help us pay for them!

Today Mason had his 2-year checkup. He continues to be our "big boy!" 85% for weight, 68% for height! We were going to run some errands and get his 2 year pictures taken after his appointment, but after being at the clinic for over 2 hours, we BOTH were ready to go home!
Time to give Mason his bath and then hope to get caught up on laundry tonight - I'm starting to not feel sick all day long so trying to do all I can while I'm feeling better...

playing photo studio

Mason and I decided to "play photo studio" a little bit this afternoon before heading out to the hockey game-- here are two that turned out. Mason doesn't like to play this game as much as I do, but he was such a good sport about it!

cant believe it...

I havent taken a single picture yet in 2011, and sadly the last time I any was on Christmas day. 19 days! So much for my plans to finally do the "365 project" of taking a photo each day! Maybe that's because my memory card has been in my computer since the day after Christmas.

Not much else has been going on @ the Buzick's... excited for Sioux-Gophers tomorrow night. My parents are taking Mason for the night - Bobby & I are having a night out with friends. Can't wait! Thanks mom & dad :)

I am 9 weeks pregnant today! Love tracking Baby B's weekly updates on babycenter.com. I'm still not feeling well at all, especially not at night. The tiredness has passed, but it's been a long three weeks of not feeling well. Im sure it has been a long 3 weeks for Bobby too! Wednesday night he even got out of bed at 3AM to get me a yogurt to eat, and is always getting up to get me ginger ale with ice. What a guy!

It's Mason's last week of being 1 year old. Can't believe he will already be TWO years old next weekend! Which reminds me I need to send out his birthday invites!

He is becoming so independent. Loves dressing himself in the morning (although if he had his way he would wear his sponge bob pj's 24/7!). Loves putting on his own hat, mittens and boots (even if they are on the wrong feet/hands). Loves brushing his own teeth (even "spits" in the sink). Loves bringing his dishes to the sink after dinner. Has his own ideas of how we should do things. Loves playing and pretending. He has this amazing ability to crack me and Bobby up, and even more has the ability to melt our hearts!

So relieved it is a long 3 day weekend.
Work this week was a complete whirlwind and wiped me out.
Feels like I didnt get a single thing accomplished at home.
Off to watch the game on FSN - GO SIOUX!

exciting news!!!

It's "facebook" official -- Mason is going to be getting a little brother or sister in August! I am officially 7.5 weeks along, and feeling very pregnant! Think I might even have a baby bump. Early Sunday morning I ended up in the ER to get fluids due to becoming dehyrated (the same thing happened when I was pregnant with Mason); except this time I think it was more of a stomach flu that I had other than morning (all day) sickness. Just need to remember that this just means everything is going as it should be! Bobby ended up getting sick the following day - miracously Mason never got sick!

Right now just catching up on past episodes of the Closer with all of the lights off -- hiding from the Schwan's man! I hate having to tell him we don't need anything when he comes -- I guess I would rather hide out in my own home! :)

So many thoughts going through my head lately - Are we going to be able to handle having TWO kids?!?! Are we absolutely CRAZY? Is it possible to love another little creature as much as we love Mason? Am I ever going to want/be able to eat normal meals again? These are the thoughts that wake me up in the middle of the night! Then I wake Bobby up and we talk about baby names until I can fall back asleep again!

I never set any New Years resolutions this year - I guess I figured we'd have enough change on our own this year, no need to push for more changes! And as absolutely pathetic as this sounds I have seriously been too tired to even try to think of any!
