2 years + 2 days

Bobby & I have officially been married 2 years + 2 days today! I am married to the sweetest guy on this earth - Bobby has had this week off work and so we had decided to go to the Dairy Queen for a little lunch date - but when he picks me up he starts driving toward the other end of town, saying he had to bring something to my grandma's house first. But instead, we go to the park and Bobby has a picnic blanket spread out and a boquet of roses! We had a wonderful picnic together, and the weather was perfect! I was bummed I had to go back to work, but thanks so much for being so sweet babe! It's so awesome that even though he no longer has to "impress" me, he still does every day! Below is a picture I took with my camera phone of our lunch date. I love you honey!

Then Tuesday night my grandma (Mason's GREAT grandma) came to watch Mason so Bobby & I could go to a movie. We went to see Halloween 2, which is not the most romantic movie but a movie we wanted to see (by we, I mean mostly Bobby but I like the movie because it has a kind of "social worky" feel to it --- like maybe if Michael Meyers would have had a social worker in his life he wouldn't kill so many people!!!) Then we came home and exchanged presents- I got Bobby a digital picture frame that I dont even know how to use and Bobby got me a ton of scrapbooking stuff, an outfit, and some Naughty Monkey boots-- I had never even heard of them before but they do have some cute shoes!!!

Tonight we went and got Mason's 7/8 month pictures taken - can't wait to get them back. He is making THIS new face all the time now! And our daycare mom told me this morning that she was sure she saw Mason scooting toward another baby @ daycare yesterday!

SOOOOO glad tomorrow is Friday!!! Time for beddy-bies!

it's been awhile!

It's been awhile since my last post- again! Things just continue to be busy for us ~ just working full time and being a mommy seems to consume all my time - which is fine with me (besides the working part!)

So what has been new in the Buzick household since Sept 2nd? Not much just keeping busy at work and trying to make the most of every minute of family time on the weekend! Friday the 4th we brought Mason to a doctor appt (follow up from ER visit Sunday night) -- he is doing just fine - I told the doctor Friday afternoon that I was worried that Mason wasn't rolling from his tummy to his back yet (only from back to tummy, which he learned from Dillon over the 4th of July)... Dr. Shelton said not to worry about it but if he's still not doing it @ his 9 month checkup he would refer him for physical therapy. Well I think Mason heard him because the next day, he was just hanging out on his tummy and then "plop" all of a sudden had rolled onto his back and then smiled at me. I think he was saying "mom I could have done this the whole time but I like when you come pick me up instead."

We also had Bobby's mom over Saturday-Sunday. Our original plan was to go to DL to spend time @ my grandparents' condo and see our friends Drew & Meg - but Drew & Meg had a wedding in Vegas, and Bobby's mom wanted to come see Mason! She got him the cutest shirt that has a little chick on it and says "Chicks Dig Me." We spent all of Saturday night watching "Beyond Belief - Fact or Fiction?" I used to watch that show in high school! Now it is on the "chiller" channel. Does anyone remember this show?

Wow this entry is getting really long especially with no pictures--- this weekend just flew by! Went out with the work girls Friday night and then to Brittney Spears with Meg & Nicole-- thanks for the awesome time girls!!!!

This whole month has flown by already! This year has flown by! Tomorrow is Bobby & my 2nd anniversary already! It is crazy to think that 2 years ago tonight we were having our groom's supper @ the Bronze Boot. I love you goose!

Here are a few recent pics of the pics from my ladies' retreat I was talking about before, some pics of Preston & Brea's b-day party and some updated pics of Mason. Not much new to update on... just tonight Bobby & Mason took a bath together-- it was so adorable, I took a ton of pictures. (and just for the record, bobby wore his swim trunks :) ) I also bought him an acutal walker (yes, the kind with wheels that you are not supposed to buy) - I put him in it tonight and he just thought you were supposed to jump up and down in it but he will eventually get it-- I cant wait for him to be wizzing around the kitchen!

i had been doing well with keeping my posts up to date, but the month of august has just been FLYING by! Can't believe it's already almost September (which means me & Bobby's 2 year anniversary is coming up!) - where has this summer gone? I feel ripped off!

Here is a quick recap of what has been going on in the Buzick house since the beginning of August:

• Bobby went on a trip to Alaska for work
• Bobby had 2 friends from Mpls come spend the night with us Friday the 14th
• I repainted our bedroom while Bobby was gone (well the parts I could reach!) a light brown/beige color (this took me 4 nights!)
• Mason turned 7 months old on the 23rd -- he is getting so big!
• I had a scrapbook retreat with my sister, mom, great aunt, and grandma in DL at a little place called Pens & Needles -- it was AWESOME - I only got 14 pages done but it was so nice to have a *girls* weekend away!
• Birthday party for Preston & Brea Sunday - so nice to see all of our family
• work work work work work work work!

Bobby & I had a date night the 15th before he took off for Alaska - Mason stayed at my parents, we had all these big plans to go out to eat, then to a movie, then downtown for a few drinks - we even got a hotel room! Well we went out to eat and at 9:30 decided it was time for bed! We were sleeping by 10:30! Haha!

Tonight is the first night i think I have even been on the internet for longer than 3 min.. I'm trying to get caught up on this season of Army Wives - found out you can watch the episodes online, commercial free! wahoo! this is hopefully going to be my motivation to spend some much needed time on my treadmill!

Tomorrow my girls night out crew is going out to get pedicures/manicures- my feet are so pumped! Then Saturday I am supposed to go to Fargo for Gold Canyon's fall prodcut line preview -- not sure yet if I want to drive to Fargo again this weekend but I am trying to get motivated to do the "bizz" again!

I will try to put up some pics of my pages I worked on and some pics of the bedroom & b-day party...someday!

Thank goodness the weekend is finally here!!! It has been a very crazy week - it is so rejuvinating to just be able to be at home relaxing-- I am even loving the fact that its raining outside so I dont have to feel bad for sitting in my scrapbook room playing with the pictures on my computer. Right now I am trying to figure out how to use photobucket-- it is kind of depressing, because I remember I used to be "the expert" (in my family at least, which I guess doesn't say much, haha) at figuring out computer stuff- and now I struggle! I must be getting old :(

Last weekend my grandpa was up from St. Cloud so it was great to see him & Arliene- my uncle Tim from Florida was also here as was my Uncle Todd & his family from Kansas! It was so nice to see everyone - even just briefly!

Now this weekend we are just hanging out - not doing a dang thing besides "being a family!" and loving it!
