pictures!

Here are just a few pics from our trip to NYC! We had so much fun, it's hard being back home knowing that I have to go back to work Friday. I loved our entire trip, but some of the highlights were:
  • Going to Shea stadium for a doube-header Mets game, and getting my picture taken with Chipper Jones (even though he is not quite as good loooking as David Wright, I still thought he was cute enough to take a picture with!)
  • Touring and going to the top of the Empire State Building
  • Going on a carriage ride through Cenral Park
  • Seeing Phantom of the Opera on Broadway (well, it was actually 44th street)

One disappointment I had, however, was learning that the fountain seen on FRIENDS (you know the one in Central Park where they are all dancing in the beginning?) is a REMAKE of the one in Central Park. So, even though Bobby & I have our pics taken by "the" fountian, it is NOT the one they used on FRIENDS. In fact, the ENTIRE show (except the pics of the Museum of History) was all done in LA.

Here is my album of more trip pictures on my facebook

home from NYC

Well, not quite. I am using Bobbys computer sitting at the mpls. airport waiting to get home. while it was SOOO nice to get away for "one last" vacation before we become a family of 3(!) it is also nice to be getting back home. Neither of us have to be back to work until FrIDaY! I thought I brought with my USB cord to put some pictures up already but I guess pics will have to wait until another day.

Next Monday is probably going to be the only Monday I have ever looked forward to [at least in a while] -- Bobby & I are finding out if we are having a little BOY or a little GIRL!!! Then after, we are heading straight out to do some baby shopping--something I have been anxiously waiting for!

scrapping

Last night while bobby was busy watching a movie, I had started to go through my pictures to make a list of all the pages I wanted to get done for when I go to scrap camp-- I haven't been scrapbooking at all because I have been worried that I was going to "run out" of pictures. I then realized how far behind I am!!! So last night I stayed up late and got a few pages done.

what a long day!

I am fairly certain everyone that would go on my blog would know this-- BUT me & bobby are expecting a little one!!! we are so excited to become parents! On Monday, though, I was honestly thinking that this is going to be the longest 9 months (well 6 more to go) of my life. I had been sick all weekend long and on Monday ended up having to go to the clinic to get an IV for fluids because my doctor thought I was dehydrated. I was thinking I would go in, they would give me an IV, and I would be in-and-out of there in 2 hours (at the most). Well, FIVE hours later, I was STILL at the clinic! It was probably the longest 5 1/2 hours of my life (at least until it comes time for me to give birth!!!). I was going out of my mind, I cannot even explain how bored I was. I thought I was going to have a panic attack because I had absolutely nothing to do. I think I am now the expert on all the different kinds of birth control and the "effectiveness of use" percentages that I memorized off a chart in the office. But, now they gave me some medicine to help with the nausea, and it has been TWO whole days (knock on wood) that I have gone without getting sick!!! Wahoo! I'm pumped!

go go go go JOSEPH!

On Saturday, my three BEST FRIENDS (jill, sam and danie) and I went to see the musical JOSEPH and the AMAZING technicolor DREAMCOAT-- it has been our fav. musical ever since high school. we had so much fun. First we went to eat at Olive Garden, then got to hang out at Danie's house, and finally, got to see the musical at the Trollwood OUTDOOR theater!

it was so great not only because the musical was so good, but even more so because i got to see it with my 3 best friends. .. love you girls!!!

I know that a 60 still isn't even close to AMAZING but, it is for me!!! When I make it to the PGA, I promise Sam & Amanda that I will remember you & all of your pointers and patience you've had with me! :)

GO USA!

Happy Birthday America! Over the 4th, Bobby and I got to spend the day with some of our best friends drew, meg, jay, tracey, tj & crystal! we had so much fun RELAXING on the boat all afternoon long on Lake Munson (drinking my BUSH N/A beer w/meagan of course!), and then we headed to Pelican Lake to see the annual 4th of July fireworks show. This is the 3rd year we have gone to see them, and each year they are just as awesome as the year before. We are so thankful that drew & meagan are so kind and let us come share their boat and stay at their beautiful home each year. thanks guys!
