photoshop creations

Here are a few 8x10 pics that I did with photoshop tonight - I know a lot of them look the same! Angel & Delicia I was going to surprise you with copies but couldn't wait until they got here to put them up :)

6-month checkup

Where has the time gone? Mason is already HALF of a year old! It seems like it was just a month ago when we brought him home from the hospital. Yesterday he had his 6 month checkup- everything was going well. He weighed 21 pounds, 7.9 oz, which means he is in the 97% for weight, the 90% for height, and his head was over the 100%! Bobby also bought Mason another new carseat- I absolutely HATED the one we had- it was an Eddie Bauer one- I DO NOT recommend that one! Bobby got him a Graco My Ride- I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Mason seems to too! It was a breeze to install and Mason is so much more comfortable in it! (...and it
was almost half the price!)

florida trip

Bobby & I had such a blast in Florida-- it was so hard to be away from Mason but at the same time it was nice to have some "us" time. We arrived Tuesday afternoon, and were there until Saturday afternoon. The weather was AWESOME - between 95 & 100 each day, and only 1 or 2 sun showers. It was a little too hot for Bobby though! The highlights of our trip were:

  • Margaritaville (after our $180 bar-tab! :( )
  • Eating @ Fulton's Crab Boat in Downtown Disney
  • Magic Kingdom (of course!)
  • Animal Kingdom

we're off!

Bobby & I leave for Florida EARLY tomorrow morning - even though I am soooooo super excited to go, and to have some "us" time, I am going to miss Mason so much! Last night was crazy trying to get all packed- Mason by far had the most stuff to pack! We are meeting Angel tonight in Fargo (thanks so much Angel for meeting us there, it saves us 3 hours!!!), and Jefferson is going to my parents. We will be getting back LATE Saturday night, then driving to Jamestown Sunday to pick Mason up!

is it friday yet???

This work week has been wearing me out! I was so bummed today when I realized it was only Wednesday--- maybe it is because this is my first full week in 3 weeks...

Last weekend we had such a blast-- Bobby's sister and her family came up to stay with us- we love being able to spend time with them! Our friend Delicia and her two beautiful girls also came over for our BBQ/campfire. It kinda actually felt like we were at the lake (complete with the scenic snake river in the backyard--- ha!)- we even roasted marshmallows and made s'mores!

Saturday morning was a very big day for Mason -- he got his first taste of rice cereal! He loved it -- didn't even get too messy, except for when he started trying to grab for the spoon.

Last night I went to a baby shower for my friend Danie and her little girl Eve -- Eve is so beautiful - it was so crazy to believe that Mason was ever that small; it was just a reminder of how fast they grow! There were 6 out of the 10 "original Argyle girls" at the shower - it was so great for all of us to be together!

Next Tuesday we already leave for Florida~ it is going to be so hard to be away from Mason for that long but I know he will be very well cared for by his auntie Angel!!! :)

Happy 4th (9th) of July!

Wow is this summer flying by! I cant believe that the 4th of July is already over... where does the time go? For the 4th of July, we went to our friends Drew & Meg's house on Lake Munson-- it has been our tradition for 3 years now! This was our first year "with children" - more than a little change! :) Mason got to experience his first boat ride - I dont think he even knew he was on a boat - and I got to try to water ski (unsucessfully). Then Drew's mom watched the two boys for a couple hours that night so we could make the trip to Pelican Lake and see the awesome fireworks display. Thanks Becky! We are so blessed to have such great friends. Thanks so much for having us Drew & Meg! We had a blast!

Here are a few pics of the boys-- so strange to think that next year they will be chasing eachother around!!! Dillon was rolling all over the place - and he taught Mason how! Now Mason rolls from his back to his tummy all the time (then he gets mad because he can't get back over again!)
