Picnic!

Tonight we had a picnic on the driveway (haven't cleaned off the patio furniture yet!!!) -- masons idea - what a great one!!!!

Yay spring has arrived!!!

I think we can finally say spring has arrived....although there is still a small patch of snow in our backyard....we spent the entire evening after work/daycare playing outside -- didn't get any laundry done or house cleaned but it was much too beautiful to stay inside!!!

6+ weeks into 2013

And so far so good!! I've been starting to do a project life album this year and so far am actually keeping up with it, unlike my intentions with my blog last year... It seems as we get busier and busier it gets harder and harder to find the time, or I guess I should say to put this up high on the priority list. I know that when we are busy it's the best time to be putting pics up as that way our family and friends can keep up with us! With bobby attending grad school 3 nights/week there really isn't any excuse for me NOT to find SOME time! :)

2012 Highlights

Wow - 2012 came and went! It was truly a great, blessed year for our family - we couldn't have asked for more.  Some of the highlights were

• Mason turning 3 in January
• Me & Bobby's Vegas vacations in January & October
• Me turning 28, Bobby turning 33 in March
• My TEN year class reunion in June
• Seeing our nephew and nieces who were home from Oklahoma
• Birthday parties
• Lake time
• Bobby being promoted to MASTER SERGEANT  (E8) in February! Not to brag but he is the youngest E8 in the entire NDANG - so so so so proud of him!!!! His promotion ceremony was in April
• Trip to Old Mill State Park
• Two new-to-us vehicles!
• Trips to the pool - hot hot hot weather!
• Bobby & me celebrating our FIVE year anniversary in September!
• Me starting my SEVENTH year at MCSS
• Chase turning ONE in August
• 4th of July fireworks show at our house
• Big family Christmas at our home in December
• Hosting NYE dinner with some great friends & their kids

There are so many other great day-to-day moments as well. I know I wasn't the greatest at keeping up with our family blog. 

Week 41

Week 40 -- October 1- October 7

So I obviously haven't been that great about keeping up with each week... Hate that I can't figure out how to find the dates of photos on my phone.. I am proud of myself however that now all of the photos I take on my phone "magically" appear on my iPad!!! I also purchased Pages today as an attempt to try to scrapbook on it too...

This week marked the boys first day at our new daycare -- they have been there before but it is a different feeling knowing this is their new place-- Mason had been at Amanda's for over three years!!

It also marked 4 trips to the doctor/ER in 4 days... Ugh!! Thursday - Chase -- ear infection. Friday chase fell while walking at daycare and thought he bit through his lip so took him in to make sure he didn't need stitches-- thankfully he didn't!!!! Saturday mason spiked a fever of 104.2-- I brought him in and now he is on an antibiotic for strep throat... Just hope mom and dad keep feeling OK!

Since both boys have been feeling under the weather this weekend was pretty low key for us. Went to my moms for dinner and to celebrate my brothers birthday!

Going to go to bed... Want to rest u to make sure I'm not sick next!!!!
