what are you, 20 months old?
mason and I had a wonderful day together - Bobby is gone to Minneapolis for a poker tournement and then is going to the Vikes game tomorrow. He invited me to come along but I would rather stay home and relax! We stayed in our sweats all day - and spent a lot of time playing outside, it was beautiful! I really should get around to putting away my summer clothes and bust out the sweaters but just can't bring myself to do it.
I also started the LONG process of tearing off the wallpaper in my scrapbook room, I want to paint the wall lime green. Have you ever started a project that once you started it, you kind of wish you hadn't, but there is no turning back???? That is my feeling about that project!
Right now I am trying to catch up on past episodes of 'the closer,' love this show! Sad that I wont be able to watch Brothers & Sisters until Bobby gets home Monday night, I am so excited for the new season to start. Since when did I become such a TV-junkie??? I used to never watch TV.
Tomorrow Mason & I are going with my mom to Fargo - we are going to visit my brother & sister.
Think I might start a scrap page... this month's *scrapjack perhaps??? :)

boston!
We had such an amazing vacation away. It was certainly a busy week, so nice to get away and do fun things besides work!
Just some of the highlights were:
- DUCK tour (bus tour around the city, then the bus converted into a boat and we also got a tour down the Charlestown River)
- Billy Idol concert- this was Bobby's idea - I was NOT all that enthused to go but when we got there I think I might have even had a better time than Bobby!
- Walking the ENTIRE Freedom Trail
- Going to see "Wicked" - A musical about the truth behind the story of "The Wizard of Oz" - I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this! And I don't typically like musicals!
- Heading to Salem and seeing the museums there
When we got home Saturday night (we landed about 9pm) we decided it would be fun to go see a movie, since we weren't picking up Mason until the next day, so we went to see "The Town" - it was CRAZY to see scenes in the movie that were the exact same spot we had walked.
We had such a wonderful time in Boston; it is our new favorite city! We both agreed that we even wouldn't mind living there, although I'm sure living there is a lot different from visiting.
Mason had a great time with his cousins- thanks so much Angel for taking such good care of him while we were away!
It sure was hard to go to work Monday morning!

Bobby Mason & I went to "Fan Fest" at the REA this AM - we are getting excited for hockey season to start! We got autographs and pictures with the mens' and womens' teams.Bobby said that would be fine, as long as he could use this of Evan Trupp and him for his! :)

where has august gone?
Today Mason had his pulmonologist appointment that took 3 hours; Mason was such a trooper! First we met with the doctor, then they did a bunch of little pokes on his back, then we had to go to get a chest x-ray, then back to meet with the doctor, THEN went to get a vial of blood drawn. I thought for sure he was going to sleep (or cry) the whole way home but he didn't! Our dr. today told me that we HAD to get rid of Jefferson. He was actually quite irritated that we hadn't already gotten rid of him when we first found out he was allergic, but his primary doctor told us we didnt have to.
The house is quiet; Mason went to bed and Bobby is @ a fantasy football draft. Last night I had a girls night out and came home with a new purse among other things (bobby was almost as excited as me about the new purse to add to my collection!) as we did an exchange of our odds/ends - kind of like a rummage sale but we just all contributed and then took turns taking what we wanted/picked out for eachother. It was so much fun, thanks Katrina!
Last weekend had my scrapbooking weekend @ "A Friend's Getaway" in Dent, MN. GREAT place!! Believe it or not I used up ALL of my pictures in my picture box. Of course most of them went in a 4x6 album and I havent developed any pictures since Christmas (!!!!!) but I really wanted to get "caught up." My scrapping month-by-month digitally has really taken the "stress" out of wanting to stay caught up.
I am also VERY pumped to "re-start" my metal stamping - I finally found a place (online, after searching all over the place in Grand Forks) that sold small quantities of metal discs. They are way smaller than I thought but it is still so much fun! I also am excited to use the new humungous Xyron sticker-maker my grandma gave to me.
I will try to put up some more pictures this weekend :)
